Sushi



A type of sushi from 1619 that's still available today.

Traditional Japanese sushi is low in calories and fat. It has minerals and vitamins. It's usually simple — with 3 or 4 ingredients. Often it's just fish and rice.

Kappamaki are named after the Japanese kappa monster. Kappa monsters love cucumbers.

Eating different dishes of raw fish back-to-back can lead your taste buds to fishy exhaustion. It's a good idea to refresh your taste buds between eat type of fish.

You could put a tomato and an ostrich egg on rice and call it sushi as long as the rice was sushi rice.

Chirashizushi is a bowl of sushi rice with raw fish on top.

A Futomaki is a thick rolled sushi with multiple ingredients.
